On the 15th and 16th of June 2022, IA Labs made our first appearance at the Dublin Tech Summit held in the RDS centre on Dublin’s southside. As this was our first time exhibiting at an event since incorporating in August 2021, all of our team were hyped and ready to network.

Today marks the official launch of myNCBI Smart Hub, a voice interaction model available on all Alexa-enabled and Google Home devices that gives users of all demographics easy access to information on NCBI’s services and special features just by saying, “Alexa / Google, open myNCBI”.

This report was commissioned by the country’s national sight loss charity, NCBI, and entails how accessible Ireland’s digital world is based on manual accessibility audits performed by the staff of IA Labs. Research and write-up of the index was carried out from January to April 2022 and it was officially released on 27th April.

IA Labs was delighted to welcome Anne Rabbitte, Minister of State with Responsibility for Disabilities, as the guest of honour to their official company launch on the 27th of April 2022.

The official launch of Inclusion & Accessibility (IA) Labs and the Digital Accessibility Index was held on the 27th of April 2022 in Dublin, Ireland. The staff of IA Labs were delighted to welcome guests from a range of industries and the guest of honour, Minister of State for Disability Anne Rabbitte, to the event.
